Mend Electrolux RM122F Fridge Works Fine

Campa van fridge not working on ignition ?

I have a Electrolux RM122F fridge in my VW campa van that works fine on Gas but will not stay cool on electric ( ignition) . I have checked the electric supply and its fine . Its only just started to happen , has any one got any ideas ?

It is most probably the 12 volt heating element that is at fault. They are quite inexpensive
