on off button keeps flashing?

Hi Dave the dishwasher, I think that will be adp 8502 or its relative.Are the selections by a dial corresponding to a green light and the start button to the right of it?
This could be a few things so I will try to narrow it down.Does the light flash and a bleep when it stops .If the light flashes, count the flashes between the pause and that is an error code.If it flashes I can tell you what the fault is.
Turn the machine off and open the door.Shut the door,turn on and set a programme.press start.Do you get the drain pump come on.If it hums, the drain pump is jammed.If the pump works ,stops and silence,possibly a fill valve.Test for continuity if poss.It could also be the pcb, especially if no error code comes up and these are ususally pretty good if there is an error.My guess would be the pcb.These are in the base of the machine and all plugs oush on. Check for a burnt connecting plug on the pcb.These are about £105 plus vat and postage but the model number has to be known.It is usually on the side edge of the door.All the best.
