how do i disassemble my white knight 767c dryer? ?

my dryer does not start under its own power , I have to spin the drum manually. The belt is intact and i just want to try and find the fault before i go and pay silly money for a service engineer. I can remove all the screws for the back panel but cant get the fan off. After removing the screw i thought it would just leaver off. Its jammed solid.
