Medion Laptob/White wine spilled on keyboard. Cleaned and dried out ok but Laptob refuses to start up at all. No indication of life what-so-ever. Could there be a re-set switch somewhere?
No reset switch mate. Is it really dry? Just because the keyboard is dry, the wine could have easily flowed into the main unit and over the motherboard/cpu and any other surrounding components. Unless i know 100% the WHOLE laptop was dry, i would have been hesitant to fire it up. Water damage only hurts the computer if it is switched on. You could dip a motherboard in a bath of water, dry it out and refit and all would be fine.
