Mend Murray STX30 Lawn Mower Drive Belt Replacement

Will replacing drive belt restore forward and reverse motion?

The drive belt on my STX30 broke today. I have replaced it a few times before. The mower will not move forward or backward which I don't recall from before. Do I have another problem or will replacing the drive belt be all that is required?
