How can i fix or replace the headphone jack for a zen micro 5gb?

I replaced the headphone jack with a ack that i took from a pair of broken heaphones. I know this jack works. I soldered the wires together, then taped it up. The strange thing is, when i listen with both the heaphones in, the right heaphone plays more of the delay and reverb used in the production of the track. it's like listening to one speaker on a 5.1 system.... I soldered all three of the wires inside together. Two of the wires were the same colour as the other two on the jack. the other was a different colour. Should i have soldered this?

Well after soldering the weak points as we know to be a problem mine was still acting up... funnily enough I fixed it using Tin foil! (Aluminium foil)

When you open it up... there's the main part to the headphone jack... where you'd plug your speakers in.
To the right of that... and down at the end of the jack there's a slight slit there... I rolled up a tiny bit of foil and slotted it in...

Voila

( I am not help responsible for anything you do... Im just giving an example of what I did to fix mine... Dont try this as I cannot guarentee it will work )

Depending on how loose your headphone jack is, you might be able to skip the soldering and just combat the problem by "padding" the inside of the jack casing with cardboard or paper strips.
