Mend Dyson DC80 Hoover Problem

how can i fix my dyson hoover, DC80?

the post filter is damaged, i can replace the post filter which isnt a problem, but its still not workin, post filter got burnt, and smoke came out of the dyson, now its an electrical problem, by changing the fuse would it work?
