Hi Kevin, the A/C pump is under the power steering pump on the right side as you look at the engine, The compressor will not engage unless the engine coolant temp switch is at the correct temp and the triple presure switch and the refrigerant pressure switch are correct then the engine ecu will energise a relay and supply power to the compressor clutch
