how to change printing A4 to A5?

Lexmark Z13801J printer using cartridges 3 for black and 2 for colour. Purchased 13/07/07
I use a Dell desk computer purchased 00/10/06, microsoft xp

have always printed on A 4 paper - can I also print size A 5 using paper or card and if yes, how do I alter the printer and eventually get back to A 4 printing?

You don't change anything on the printer (except the paper), you change the settings in the application that you are using to drive the printer e.g. MS Word.
