indesit D41 dishwasher LED flashes Pre-wash?

Wow! Thankyou so much - I had already cleaned filters - topped up salt etc to no avail when I found the answer on here! I unplugged - tilted back the machine - make sure you have towels at the ready! - and it's working x x

Worked for us too, emptied water lying at bottom, cleaned the filters & it started again, mind you, we're not at the end of the cycle yet... but it looks promising so Thank You!

A big thank you to Troggy; your answer resolved my issue. (First light flashing, no water entering machine). I followed your instructions, lo and behold base emptied about half cup of water, mopped up and it works now). Cheers!

had same problem on my d40, sorted it thanks to robs answer, i think it was cuased by using 5 in 1 tablets and rinse aid liquid

Hi if the first light is flashing it is water getting on to the bottom tray. This is caused as the rins is set to high turn down to about 2 on the ajuster where you put your rins.
You then have to get rid of the water. Turn the dishwasher of and un-plug it. Pull out and tilt dishwasher back untill water stops coming out there will be about 1/2 a cup. Mop up and plug in ,every thing should be working ok again.

led 5 prewash is a thermistor circuit fault.but could also be water in the base it will just pump no other actions will work

Hi Ian my m/c is displaying the same error. It started with the 1st & 2nd LEDs flashing which points to a blocked pump but having de-sludged it it now flashes on the 1st only. Any further info would be appreciated.
