Mend Singer 2010 Touchtronic

singer touchtronic 2010?

hi, i have a singer touchtronic 2010. the last time i used it, it worked beautifully. i got it out to use it today and it seems to be sort of "jammed up" like it won't move (work or run). it makes a bit of a grinding type noise and moves a little, then it stops working altogether...I was in desperate need to make a few quick alterations...help (and thanks so so much)...

Hello Sherilyn,
It sounds like the bottom gear may have broken away which is quite common but you won't know until you take the bottom off the machine and look at the gears directly under the bobbin case area, e-mail me if you have a problem, have you made sure there is no thread stuck around the raceway area. ?
