Zafira 2.0 DTI egr valve location?

where and how do i clean out the egr valve on a 2003 model

hi the egr valve on my zafira 2l dti is at the front of the engine when you open the bonnet it is behind the radiator it has 2 small pipes going to it and on the right of it has a connector you will need to unplug it and also take off the 2 pipes going to it , if it is the egr valve my simptons were spanner light on dash and sometimes the engine would not rev above 3 thousand rpm and would not have the turbo kick in ie limp ( mode )
