Oh no, this is a nightmare! You mean the illumination for the centre console.
You will need: a friend, 3 replacement bulbs, 1/2 a day (first attempt), selection of screwdrivers and prying tools.
I went to a scrapyard and practised this a couple of times before attacking my own. Be gentle with the plastic surfaces or it will look like a stereo theif helped you.
Remove radio, use a bunty screwdriver (or get an electric screwdriver bit and pliers) to remove screws inside the top of the hole, very awkward.
Remove 3 knobs(brute force on the outer pair breaks the clip, switch on the demister and try poking something slender into the little hole up the side to release the clip)the broken knobs will need a very little amount of glue to replace.
Remove screws behind heater vents, look inside them there is a little star screw at the back of each, poke the screwdriver through the vent to undo(or do the vents pry out to reveal the screws? I cant remember) this will allow the removal of the display just above.
Remove the "recirculate air" knob and the strip behind it. I think there are more screws in here.
Try to remove the face of the console, you will discover any screws you have missed.
There is a white unit here holding the bulbs, I cant remember if they face forward or back. Hopefully one still works it will guide you to the position of the others. The bulbs just pull out, they cost 50p or a pound or something from a motor factors or garage.
Reassembly is just as difficult as dissassembly. There are many things to line up before the face will go on again. Have a friend help replace the screws behind the vents.
