Mend Aisin Sewing Machine Bobbin Timing

bobbin not picking up?

after a loud clonk the bobin will not pick up.(timing??).when the needle is at its lowest the bobbin case point is well past the needle eye top so the cotton dosent go arond the case. how do i time it up. timing a car is easier for me. the machine is a japanese AISIN with a drop in bobbin case
