Hateto say it, but my new homelite 26ss trimmer also won't start on it's own. There are two adjusting screws for the mix which are capped at the factory.
I don't know if they are capped or a special tool that I don't seem to have slips over them, so I am very reluctant to drill them out.
So I squirt a little carb cleaner in the carb area and what do ya know? It starts every time.
I am assuming that mixture is off, but I do not dare drill out the screws/caps
