I found this on a web site

Apparently the poor battery life that some people have with the D900 is caused by cracked resin & requires the main board to be replaced.
Until recently, Samsung's line was it was not a manufacturing defect & so not covered by their warranty, but apparently there has been a recent internal policy update & they seems to have now recognised that they do have a design & manufacturing problem.
I sent my phone off for repair because of poor battery life some time ago & they refused to do it under warranty & said I would have to pay to have the broken phone returned to me & so I just left it with them.
Then the other day, out of the blue, my phone was returned fixed with the line about the 'recent internal policy update'. The battery life is excellent now.
I'd recommend anyone who has poor battery life to claim under the warranty. Personally I won't be buying a Samsung again because I found their customer service to be appalling.
