Diplomat Dishwasher ADP8352 not running?

After loading up, selecting wash cycle and letting it go, the machine won't start a wash cycle. Mains water and power are there but it just starts chunting for a few minutes then beeps incessantly.

Any ideas or is it expensive time?

Hi Willf,this is a whirlpool derivative.The start button will flash as it bleeps.Count the flashes between pauses.It will probably flash 4 times between pauses and this is the pressure switch,quite cheap.If it flashes twice look in the base,if there is water then the pump is leaking,not good.3 times,heater defective.4 times drain pump.Please resend if you need further help.All the best.
