Mend Toilet Flush Working

I have to hold the handle to have the toilet flush, why?

I have replaced most of the working parts in the toilet and now I have to hold the lever down to have it flush properly. Can this be adjusted or do I need to replace the flapper again?

Flapper is sticking, if you let go of the handle it will interrupt the flush -as you have found out. Change flapper or better still be extravagant and buy a complete new unit . They're only£3-99 from screwfix
