Dyson Dc04 (will a new power cord fit straight on)?
The wire to my dyson DC04 absolute is to short to re-connect and need a new power cord. When looking at the connections inside the plastic mould. Theirs a clear plastic connector box with two sets of wires going in on both side. On the right side theirs a spade connector. Does the new wire come with the clear connector box to fit straight on? or am I completely wrong!
Having just purchased a new power cord for the DC04, I can confirm the new cord comes with 2 flat spades on the end. My issue is how to get at it. How did you get the plastic moulding off to be able to change the wire. I seem to find anything to push/pull, click or anything to get at it. I'm about to force it off but am afraid I'll break it. Can you offer any help please ?
