i have just brought a used escort van and i have noticed it is really gutless and going up hills takes for ever. when she has picked up speed she is great but pulling away and getting back up to speed takes ages i have been told i can adjust the diesel pump but i have only done this once before on an older model.
before f***ikng around with pump.run it till a gallon or so left in tank then add injector cleaner to tank and see if that affects in improvment.if so having all 4 injectors serviced could be all thats needed.im assuming that u already renewed fuel and air filters of course.
