The other day my electric sunroof on a 1999 clio 1.6 stopped working. It seems to open on the lefthand side, but not the right hand side (twisting the sunroof). Now the roof is slightly open on the left and I cannot close it anymore. I suspect it has to do with the motor or slide mechanism. How do I get to the motor.
I also have the same problem on my 2000 1.6?

I just had the same thing happen.
The electric bits are fine and based on the noise the motors are still working, so it'll be the worm gear arrangement that has gone.
The advice I got was to go in from the top, removing the plastic seal on the roof, then apparently there are just a few bolts, which allow you to remove the glass and get in.
I haven't had a go yet, my thoughts are to just get it shut and secure first.
