Mend Dyson DC04 Completely Working Fuse

How can I fix my DC04 it's just cut out completely?

My DC04 was working for a few seconds then just cut out. Checked fuse & obvious things. Any suggestions please.

Dyson Dyson DC04 Household Appliances, Vacuum Cleaners Completely Working Fuse

My DC04 did the same. It turned out that were the power lead goes into the DC04 had worn out. So what I did was take apart the power switch and cut back the power lead to were it was`nt worn and reconnect it. I lost about 4 inches off my power lead.
