the hands should just be a friction fit so should just pull off with a little force but only a little bit
before you try to pull them off look at the centre nut in the middle of the dial where the hands fit it may have two things there a screw fittin plate that goes over the centre of the hand if so un screw it then remove the hand
or it may have a small rivet through the centre of it if so remove this first with a small pair of plier be careful not to mishape it though as you will need to refit this after
dependant on the age and model it mayhave neither of these and the hands solely be a friction fit with no other secure fitting in place
for ease of making sure the hands are on correctly set the clock to 12 so you know they are going on in the right place and it will chime as normal
