Sharp XE A102 How to add tax to department?

When I ad the tax to one department, it adds it to all departments. I need department 1 to be non-taxable, and department 2 to be 5% tax. It seems to be all or nothing. I've followed the directions in the manual and I can get it to work

Key to Z/PGM mode
0000007 X/TM Dept button ST
