Mend Gardtec 370 Low Battery Fault

Gardtec 370?

Had a low battery fault on keypad, punched in code and now system is inoperative. Have 240v onto control box and 12v through transformer onto main control pc board, all fuses intact. Battery i assume is dead but this should not be used if there is 240v to control pc board? Any thoughts as to possible problem and are spare parts availble?

hi alarm keeps going off for know reason even when not set
on the keypad i usualy get 1-
this has happend 5 times now at all hours of the day and night
although today when we got back after it had been set on the keypad C6

Sorry - you said all fuses in tact - are you sure ?
Is there voltage at the keypad ?
Has the wire to the keypad been damaged ?
You could take the keypad to the panel and connect it on a short cable - this will prove whether its a keypad or wiring problem

Check the remote keypad fuse inside the panel (usual safety caveats apply when opening the panel)

You are right the alarm should work without the battery connected. How is the alarm inoperative after the low battery indication ? Code doesnt work >? Keypad dead ?
