how to mend the headlight switch on steering wheel?

how do i change or mend the headlight switch on the side of my steering wheel as it has come away and my headlights dont work it is a renault clio t reg

I'm pretty sure that you dont have to remove the steering wheel to do these - although its ages since I did one! You have to remove the plastic shrouds from around the steering column (screws underneath). With these out of the way you should be able to see how the switch is fixed. Before you shell out loads of dosh to Renault though, consider ringing Eurocarparts to see if they do them.
