The tension underneath is all wrong. Thread just lies in a straight line on the surface of the material caught by a loop from the upper. I can pull lower thread out easily after stitching. Have adjusted the screw on the lower thread tension all ways, and gone from 2 to 9 on the tension control wheel with no luck. HELP, machine going through the window soon.

save the window for the moment, make sure first of all that you have the bobbin in the correct way round, should turn anti-clockwise, the thread should pull through the bobbin case with some resistence, if it is too loose tighten the larger screw on the bobbin case bit by bit clockwise until you can just pull the thread through, top tension between 4 and 6.
