My radio is asking me for the code - but how do I get the serial number which some of the other posts refer to 'Mxxxxxx' - is it written on the radio somewhere? Julie

I have the Audio Guide but the previous owner just left it blank where the code is supposed to be recorded. I do have a card which gives an 8-digit 'key code' but it looks as if this is a code for the locking wheel nuts. I'll try ebay and then the dealer if all else fails! I do thank you for your advice! It`s either with your car`s paperwork ( usually in the Audio Guide) or it`s on the radio casing.
This means that the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard using a pair of Extractor Keys ( available on Ebay or from Halfords etc)
