Mend Mira 88 Mixer Hot Shower

MIRA 88 mixer either boiling hot or freezing?

Granted the shower has been in the house for 12 years.
Only get red hot water or turn the thermostatic control a bit and you only get cold water.

Can someone help me, please?

How do you find the part number and series/model?

Can you do it without taking the part completely out from the wall?

mira 88 is not a thermostatic shower only a standard mixer valve.

is it on a combi boiler or gravity system?
it doesn't sound like a shower fault as these are a basic mixer valve
