How can i stop my overflow?

Hello,

for some reason our overflow started to poor water today when our bath was running.

The water was still coming out of the taps fine, but was also overflowing as if the the tap was on the outside wall.

I thought it must be the loo, but no problem there and the overflow stoped when he bath taps were turned off.

Can anybody advise what the problem is please?
