Not even a year old and the darn thing just stopped one day and now wont start. It just stopped and i though this was as the fuel was empty and needed topping up.
I have bled the fuel and replaced with fresh fuel.
Replaced spark plug.
Oil levels look ok.
Air filter ok.
I can see the petrol spraying into the carb ok.
Has anyone got a servicemanual on how rv150 is put together or any other suggestions why it wont spring into life ?
Is it possible to hold the spark plug against the block by the HT lead whilst someone pulls the cord to see if you're getting a spark - take care that you don't get a shock from the plug though

Many thanks Phil i agree after checking for a spark, the ht lead, the micro switch. I called up mountfield support team. Its under warranty and guess this will be covered.

You have an ignition coil failure. Not that uncommon, and not an arm and a leg to replace.

new spark plug but no spark is my problem. stuck a teaspoon of gas in the spark plug hole and refitted plug. nothing :-(
suggestions what to try/check next ... loks to be an electric problem.
