We put contaminated fuel in our Mountfield 421 Mower?
We had a petrol can which was left outside all winter and water got into it. My wife used it to fill up the mower. It worked a couple fo times but now its completely dead. Is there a way to empty all the fuel from the mower and refill it with fress petrol ? Is this the best course of action ?
There is a fuel pipe underneath tank which u can diconnect and drain fuel .If you take out spark plug and pull engine start cord ( say 10 times ) this should remove excess fuel from carb .Then replace fuel pipe and top up with clean fuel . It may run rough for little while .
