I have a Renault Scenic and the dashboard display showed electrical fault(clock and tripometer kept resetting back to 0)The display eventually went completely blank-the car was parked up for 1 day and now refuses to start.Tried to jump start but still nothing.Anyone any ideas??
I have a 53 Scenic and it's happening on mine now. Furious that Renault want £76 for a diagnostic only which isn't deductable from any repair bill. Searching the web there seems to be numerous people with the same problem (I personally know of another 2 it's happened to in the last 3 weeks) so just to vent my spleen, so to speak, I''ve written to Watchdog. Renault refusing to pay and even saying they know nothing about the fault! Don't their franchises report back to Renault UK?

I have since had a diagnosis on my Scenic-some sort of dashboard display unit costing £400 fitted-I also neede a new battery.All this had to be done at the Renault garage.

I have an 04 scenic and the same thing has happened to mine, although it is still running. I am taking it to the garage tomorrow and will let you know the outcome.
