i have a hoypoint ctdoop and it is not drying the washing,i have taken the back off and the heater element is not getting hot,is it the element or is it the thermostat coz i don`t want to replace the element if it is a cheap repair.

you`ll find a pair of thermal cut out switches behind the element ,on one of the cut outs you will find a small hole gently push through with a pin till you hear a small click this should reset cut out switch .
