Just did this last nite - Philips head: remove the one screw in cord cover. Cover has 2 tabs pressed into vacuum, with force, pull from bottom & side, tabs pop out. Replace cord.

Cord securing tab: Remove screw on base, pull old "securing tab" out, push in & align new cord securing tab & replace screw.
