Mend Homelite UT10924 Trimmer Wont Start

homelite weed trimmer won't start?

I have taken and cleaned the carb, changed the spark plug and it still does not start. It doesn't seem to getting spark to turn it over.

I have a homelite weedeater. It takes forever to start and when it does it out in about 6 seconds. what might be the problem and how to correct the problem?

Mine had similar problem. I took the muffler off, opened it and blew into the exhaust port on the disassembled muffler. I felt a release of pressure as the clog blew out.

The weed eater started on first pull after that.
