heating problem on a ford fiesta mk4 1.3?

hi, if your fans stuck on one speed wich usually is speed four, look under the glove box to the far rite youl see sum wires leading down to a plug which is held in by a philips screw, check them near the plug end, these sumtimes get hot and burn thru, its possible thats your fault on the speed bin stuck,

If you are stuck on cold, you might want to change the heater valve located under the bonnet, i have just replaced mine and the heater resistor today, but im stuck on perminatly hot! im going to try to change the resistor, or make sure the power plug on the valve is fully secure, otherwise its a new console in the car!

hi i have a mk4 fiesta zetec 1400 and my heater contral speed only work on one speed, can anyone help on advice please, and wear i can find this part that has gone.

change the variable resistor behind the heating control (hot and cold dial) or just replace the entire control panel, remove two screws under the stereo on top of the heater control, pull panel forward and remove the cables.

I have the same problem on my 1999 fiesta finesse, but after it being stuck on hot for 3 months it's now stuck on cold. wondering if it's burnt out or something. i haven't got a clue so if you've solved your prob can you post it on here. thanks

I have a Ford Ka with the reverse symtoms insomuch as the selection has stuck on cold but I have just started to identify the cause of the problem - could the circuitry be similar??? as manufacture same - suggest the next step would be to check the input/output from the variable resistor at the rear of the interior temp selector - good luck.
