How can I unlock a radio cassette for a Ford AU (2000). The attempts at entering the security code after the battery was disconnected were exceeded resulting in the display saying Err. My wife tried entering the code without knowing it. I have the code but now cant enter it as I am locked out. I would prefer not to have to take it to a dealer.
What sometimes works is to leave the radio switched on (undisturbed) for over 11 hours (overnight) and it might reset itself automatically.
