How can I fix my Fisher & Paykel Smart Drive 058 Washing Machine?

Hey, could you please let me know what this error message is? My machine is beeping and the Long wash light and the Short wash lights are flashing. The Long wash light is the 1st light and the Short wash light is the 5th. Also could you send me a copy of the fault codes for this machine. (Fisher & Paykel Smart Drive 058) Thanking you

Sounds very much like you need a new computer ( motor control module ).

You need to check the resistance between the 3 wires that go from the controller down to the motor ( red, yellow, blue ). The resistance between any 2 wires should be around 13 ohms.

Also check under the agitator that the circular disc that screws into the tub with 3 screws is not broken.

Other than these 2 possibilities, the controller is the culprit.
