Mend Whining Noise Turn

My Dual flush toilet continiously makes a whining noise even after filling?

My dual flush toilet continiously makes a whing noise. If I turn mains cold water tap on downstairs or in bathroom it stops. When I turn the taps off its starts again. I have to turn off the inline valve at night just so that I can get to sleep.

Fit a new washer to the float valve - or fit a complete new valve. That will cure your problem.
