Hi Alan, you will need a suitable sized gear puller or you might be lucky and get two large srewdrivers equally spaced and it should pop off, don't loose the woodruff key in the crankshaft to refit the gear align the gear with the woodruff key and press it on by hand then useing the crankshaft pulley bolt and a suitable sized spacer tube (large socket) do the bolt up to make sure the gear is fully on the crankshaft then with no1 piston on TDC the dots on the timing gears should be aligned
