How do I disable Safety Switch in lid of Fisher & P Excellence 7.5 Washer?

I need to disable the Safety Switch in the lid of my F&P Washer to enable loading clothes whilst it's filling with water. The machine won't fill with the lid open. I've looked around under the top cowling where the lid fits, but can't see any button similar to the one I found on my old washer (not F&P)
