Mend Weedeater XT125 Supposed Second Hand

Fuel pickup on a weedeater xt125?

How is the fuel pickup on my weedeater xt125 supposed to be positioned? I got the weedeater second hand and when i took the gas cap off the tank the fuel pickup just fell out. There is a tube that comes off of it as well. How do i run it from the fuel pickup to the throttle assembly?

Can you see a plastic cap that holds the fuel lines where they come from the carburettor as they enter the tank? If you can prise this cap away you should find the connection for the fuel dip pipe and filter that has come adrift.
