Electrolux RM4271 three way fridge?

hi if water gets in your electrics it could short out so check the fuses and the plug fuse. on the gas side the water may have got into gas burner canopy and blocked the jet and dampered the spark ignition.
if it is the element you will find it in the inside the flue canopy one is 12 volt and the other is 230 volts.if you go to leisureshop direct.com and go on there caravan fridge section it will bring up diagrams of the wireing good luck

hi i have a electrolux caravan rm4271 in my motorhome the fridge is located below the sink and i had a burst water pipe. After fixing the pipe okay I tried the fridge on gas the red light is flashing but it will not ignight, tried it on 240/12v and the green light comes on for 240 but fridge will not work i.e will not cool 12 v the red light comes on but again it will not cool is it possible the water could have damaged it and if so where does anyone have any ideas please before i strip it down

NO! Absolutely not. Dont even try it as you will just blow that element too. You will need to buy a new element or have one fitted by a professional. I would reccomend you find a caravan service centre to do this for you as you must remove the fridge to fit it. They will then ensure that your fridge is re-fitted properly and room sealed from the deadly carbon monoxide fumes it generates.
