Mend BS 3.5classic Start Straight Runs

B@Spetrol lawnmower?

B's 3.5classic lawnmower will only start when i put petrol straight into carb.it runs for 5 seconds then cuts out. when i pushed the priming ballin it did not come back out.the air filter was a bit oily.can anyone help please.

Carb needs a complete rebuild, including new primer bulb assy and diaphragm. Also the 2 pick-up pipes that go down into the tank have gauze filters at the end. These need to be clear.
