Mira Sport 8.5kW electric Shower When somebody turns a tap on the water?

Hello

I wonder if you could help me. I have owned one of the above showers for a number of years and everything has worked fine untill a couple of months ago.

Basically if somebody turns a tap on elswhere in the house the water flow virtually stops and the water gets very hot. the only way i can seem to get it working again is to turn it off then back on again when the water pressure is back to normal.

Do you have any ideas what may be causing this

It sounds like the Pilot Valve Switching Assembly requires replacing. You can buy this direct from the manurfacturer by ringing 0844 571 5000 or have one of their Engineers repair at a fixed price

It sounds like either your incoming mains pressure has dropped or your stoptap isnt opened fully. I suffer from low water pressure at home and sometimes our electric shower wont even kick in because the pressure is to low.
