I lost my instruction manual for my kirby vacuum, and I can't remember how to convert it to the canister with the hose attachment to use on bare floors. Can anyone help?
Just above the light in front, lift it up, On the front there is a lever that you lift up. Turn this lever , this will lift the belt off the head of the vacuum. Then unlock the head with lever just above the head, this will disconnect the head, then you can attach the floor hose.
To put the head back on, put the head on the front pins, and lock on the head with the lever. Don't forget to turn the lever in front of the head to set the belt back onto the machine.
