i want to replace a old aqua sensation with a mixer shower it has two inlets pipes connected i think hot and cold can i use existing pipes

It sounds like a 'power shower' -which uses normally gravity fed hot and cold water from tanks in the loft, and it incorporates an electric pump to give you more pressure.
