Vauxhall Vauxhall Zafira 1.9 Diesel Vehicles, Cars Vauxhall Zafira Diesel Engine Warning Light

This has happened to my 1.8 petrol just recently, the book says it's the emission control light. Two days later it went off again and has stayed off, no ill effects. Heard in other forums of this happening and people being charged £800 to replace the ECU, so beware!

Hi Philip, it means the engine ECU has a stored fault that needs attention, you'll have to get it connected to a code reader to find the fault
