how do i fix my rainbow d4c vacuum?

I have the rainbow d4c and it will not power on. I dont know if it is the switch or the cord itself.

It could also be something other than the switch or cord (motor component shorted out). Best to take it to a rainbow dealer if you are not mechanically inclined enough to take it apart yourself.
